Seasons of Life

Seasons We are 7 years into this new season of transition. The thing that the Lord was doing that I didn’t like and was offended, has turned into a large place of kingdom opportunity and beautiful story of the Lord’s purpose and plan. What I once hated has turned into a great love and expectation for what is ahead. My pea brain carnal mind is so limited and unable to comprehend to eternal purpose and plan of the Lord Jesus. Endeavoring to grow in Him, deeper intimacy and fellowship with the Father. Learning to hear His voice above all others. Surrendering ownership of my life to allow Christ in me to manifest!

God's will is this?

God's will is this?

Job, why did you loose almost everything, was God angry with you, did you utterly mismanage your stuff, you must have done something wrong or was it just God's will

Joseph, in prison, you must have been a bad misguided individual, your sins have found you out, forgotten, and cast aside, is that the best you could have done in life, or are you exactly where God wants you.

David you were anointed the next King, now your running for your life living in caves. You really messed that all up, look at you and look at the group following you. Failure or perfectly kept in Gods hands?

Daniel, those lions are going to be hungry, all your sacrifice has come to this, are you a joke, or is the joke on the enemy.

Moses you were sparred from death and taken out of the water for what, to tend sheep in the backside of the desert, boy your life could have been so much more, or is there more…

Hope

Hope

It's when i get into the Word that hope is the strongest. My time away from it brings doubt and depression.

God's plan

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. (Deuteronomy 8:3 KJV)

The desire of God to teach me, that it is only by His hand that I live today. He has sustained me, His word has kept me going these years of financial difficulty, lack, want. The process of learning obedience has been and is a slow process because of old stubborn ways. Don't fight Gods plan, but rather embrace it

Wretched man

Wretched man

When I begin to think, wow I'm holy, strong, then out of the blue, I'm in a battle. Battle for purity, righteous thoughts, actions now I'm fighting, casting down thoughts and imaginations. No confidence in the flesh, because at its core it's corrupt. Paul did say this corruptible must but on incorruption. I'm trying with the help of Jesus, to remove every trace of the man that I used to be… I'm not the same, but not content to remain where I am. Jesus has been too good and done too much for me to go back. Oh that I would be a slave to righteousness!!

Continue

**Numbers 11:23 KJV** And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

God ability to provide and work miracles far exceed my understanding of how such things could be. Therefore I must continue to place my trust in Jesus, only He can save me.

**Numbers 14:11 KJV** And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

The Lord was angry with the people, because even after they saw the many miracles, they still did not believe. Jesus is still on the Throne and He will continue to bring us through if we look to Him.

Past finding out

I always get into trouble when I place my expectations upon the Lord. I have certain scenarios in my mind, then when it doesn't happen, it puts me in a tail spin. Jesus is the anchor or my soul, period. The word anchor means the space the arm creates in the elbow when I raise my hand. I need to just join arms with Jesus and go wherever He leads me. I can't get caught up in all the what, how and why of it all because it just past finding out!

Keeping our Identity

When privilege becomes a burden, And lifestyle become routine. Then we are in trouble. We must fight to keep a first generation experience throughout every apostolic generation. Great men and women have fought and sacrificed to keep this apostolic identity, we must not loose it.

Connected

We are the most connected generation, right? Facebook, twitter, email, texting, social media abounds, yet are we connected. With a generation that will need neck surgery by age 40, due to the constant bend downward, it seems we are becoming more disconnected. Dinner tables filled with cell phones, family rooms where everyone is occupied with their device than each other. I'm concerned, because it affects all of us. Are we connected, or disconnected to God, each other and the needs of society? Oh the joy of simple face to face conversation. Are we moving forward, or have we taken so many steps back?

What to do

What to do when you don't know what to do. I've felt that way so many times over this Christian walk. So what do I do... Keep doing what I know to do!! Pray, seek, forgive, love, press, pray, walk, read, ask, love, share, plead, pray...

Holy Ghost is still important

Peter told them in Acts 2:39 the promise is for you and your children and all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.  The Holy Ghost is still important today.  Jesus still pours out of His Spirit in 2011.  The greatest and one of the most significant moments in my life, was the day I received my own personal Pentecost.  It was the turning point in my life.  I was headed down a long, lonely dead-end road, filled with despair, guilt and shame, but that night all that changed.  I now had the very spirit of the living God, dwelling inside of me.  Jesus did not leave me without comfort, but He came to me and filled me miraculously.  Its still important today to me, and to this world.  Rom 14:17 says the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.  You receive the power to be a witness to the world of the great trans formative power of God's Holy Spirit.  You can have it today, its still free, and still very Important.  Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Failure or Favored

Looking at the life of Moses, you find Exodus chap 2 covers 80 yrs of his life. The remaining chapters cover the last 40yrs. If your not careful, you might miss the 40 yrs in the desert that are so important. These 40 years of obscurity, trials, questions, doubts, fears, maybes, I don't knows were a real part of Moses life. The first forty were filled with favor, blessing, opportunities, fame, fortune then its gone. If you didn't know the whole story and only knew it as you read it, it would appear that the ending wouldn't be very good. However, God doesn't make mistakes, everything He does is for a purpose, and in order to lead a million plus people out of the hands of the most powerful men on earth, it was going to take 40 yrs of training how to trust God in order to do it. Don't discount the trial or circumstances you find yourself in, God has a purpose and a plan for your life.

Digging deeper

To dig a well, or digging for treasures, sometimes you might find unexpected finds. You might find old debris that has been there for years. It blocks the path to the water or treasure. I'm digging or rather wanting a deeper walk with the Lord, and along the way have found old debris on the way down. It stands in the way of the well of water that's there. Do I walk away disappointed, or do I get aggressive and remove it from my path. There are things that have been buried in my heart due to years of sin, I must face it, remove it and keep digging. The grace of God is sufficient, Jesus will help you through. If it had not been for the Lord, where would I be....LOST!

Healing

In Acts chap 3, Peter and John said silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, I give unto you. Money, stuff and possessions all have there place, but what Jesus wants for us goes so far beyond all of that. I need deep spiritual healing for my soul. The Holy Spirit that was poured into my soul some 20 years ago is still working inside of me. As a skilled surgeon will perform delicate surgery to remove the infected part of my body, Jesus the master physician cuts through my heart to heal and deliver me from wounds, hurts, pride, failures, and all those areas of my life that would try to destroy. He's my healer!

The upgrade

Being an Apple fan I find myself frustrated at how they do business. It's not that they are poor business minded people, but rather they excell. You buy the latest and greatest product, but wait, under a years time it has become the outdated version. They are always on upgrade mode! What a challenge to me as a child of God, am I living off of last years blessings or is there something new in the Lord. Am I living off of last weeks prayer, or am I making new ones today. We need to upgrade, refine ourselves, making constant adjustments to make sure I'm not running on the old outdated victory. There's nothing wrong with remembering what Jesus did for us, I just can live there. I believe Jesus has a fresh Word and victory for us today. He is in the upgrade business, always looking to build our faith, make our walk better, Jesus is always looking to upgrade me from old man to new.

A well

How can Monday come along and feeling of discouragement, doubts, failures plague my soul then by Wednesday a sense of hope sweeps over me? Well that has happened to me this week. My mind started playing tricks on Sunday evening, and by Monday I was in full blown depression, wondering why Jesus would want to love me, I sure didn't. It's a dark place, tears filled my day yet, I knew down deep that Jesus was working on me. Despair in great measure filled my thoughts. I could only do what I knew to do, that was call upon Jesus. A simple medley about the Blood, would cross my lips, oh precious is the blood,. So today I found encouragement from His word, it's amazing how powerful it is. Yet two days earlier, life was all a blur. Jesus said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. So thankful for the well of the Holy Ghost that can water a parched thirsty soul and bring life again.

Compassion

Bible says in Matthew 9:36' "when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion". What about me? Am I moved with just my needs or do I possess compassion? Have I become so engrossed in my own issues that the issues of others don't even enter my mind. Jesus help us, I don't want them to see me and say I like your Jesus but don't like you! Jesus was the Word made flesh, guess what I think that needs to apply to me, us also. We must become the Word made flesh..

Failures

We all have them, let's face the facts. I have learned the greatest lessons in life from my failures, more so then from success. Success is actually a bad teacher. I must own up to my short comings, repent when they happen and ask the Lord to show me what I can learn. To many times I feel like a failure and fall short. That is why we need not lean upon the arm of this flesh but rather follow after the spirit. Bible says to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Rom 8:6) I must learn to trust Jesus in everything, especially my failures, and watch my spirit in the victories.

The core

Brett Clark wrote in an article that "the function of the position can never trump the purpose of the position". Wow how true, at the very core of what God called me to to is share the life changing gospel message to those in need. Many things in life become a distraction to the very purpose we live on this earth. I believe Jesus wants us to enjoy life, however first, life without Him is not living, and second life that doesn't share this fact is wasted life. The very core of what we must be is vessels Jesus can use to pour life into others by our words and deeds.

Possibilities

Where are you putting your trust? Your talents, your abilities, good looks, bank account, education, etc? With God all things are possible. God will take weak things and make it strong. The wisdom of this world is no match for the might Jesus. Don't discount God in your equation, believe that He can, and the possibilities are endless
